Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 30 July 2026
We believe a well-built website should work for everyone. This page explains how we approach accessibility on this site, and on every site we build for our clients.
1. Our commitment
As a web design studio, accessibility is not an afterthought for us, it is part of how we build every website. We design and build to WCAG 2.1 AA as our standard, and this website, webdesignwakefield.co.uk, is built to that same standard.
We want everyone who visits this site, regardless of ability or the device they use, to be able to find information, understand it, and get in touch with us easily.
2. What we do
In practice, our approach to accessibility on this website includes:
prefers-reduced-motion setting, reducing animation for those who prefer it3. Known limitations
We aim for this website to be fully accessible, but we recognise there may be areas that fall short. For example, some third-party embedded content, such as forms, maps, or booking widgets, may not fully meet the same standard, since we don't control how these third-party tools are built.
We are aware of this and continue to review third-party content on our site as part of our ongoing accessibility work. Where a genuine barrier exists, we will work to fix or replace it.
4. Reporting an accessibility issue
If you come across any part of this website that is difficult to use or does not feel accessible to you, please tell us. We take these reports seriously and want to fix genuine issues.
Please email kyle@thisisfoursocial.com with:
- A brief description of the issue you experienced
- The page it occurred on (a web address is ideal, if you have it)
- The device, browser, or assistive technology you were using, if relevant
We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and will let you know what we plan to do about it.
5. Accessibility on client websites
This commitment does not stop with our own website. Accessibility is built into our process from day one on every project we deliver, from initial design through to development and launch. When we design and build a website for a client, whether that's a small business site or a full e-commerce build, we apply the same principles set out above: semantic structure, sufficient contrast, keyboard support, and responsive, readable text.
If you would like to know more about how we build accessible websites, take a look at our web design services, or get in touch to discuss your project.
